Snapped Jennifer Nibbe and James Nibbe

The story of Jennifer Nibbe and her husband James is the subject of Oxygen's Snapped show, season 10, episode 6. Oxygen describes the show as: Jennifer Nibbe was a Minnesota woman accused of shooting her husband James in their home in August 2010 to cover her paying debts.

Jennifer  Lee  Nibbe  was  indicted on  charges  of first-degree murder and  second-degree murder following the death of her husband.  She pleaded guilty to second-degree murder  pursuant  to  a  plea  agreement  that  allowed  her  to  avoid the  risk  of a sentence  of life in  prison  without  the  possibility  of release,  the  mandatory  sentence  for  first-degree murder.

Jennifer Nibbe plead guilty and was sentenced to twenty five and one half years in prison.

Snapped Joan Shannon and Army Maj. David Shannon

Status: Incarcerated In Oxygen's Snapped, Season 4, episode 13 the story of her husband Army Maj. David Shannon and Joan Shannon is shown. This happens in the state of North Carolina. Oxygen describes this show as: Joan Shannon solicits her daughter Elizabeth in the July 2002 shooting death of her husband David, a soldier. Joan Shannon was convicted of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
