Status: Incarcerated  In season 7, episode 10 the murder of her husband Brent Poole by Renee Poole is shown. This murder occurred in the state of South Carolina. Oxygen describes this episode of Snapped as Renee Poole's husband Brent is gunned down on his wedding anniversary in June 1998, and police suspect his wife plotted the murder with her lover John Frazier is the one who did the actual killing.  Kimberly Renee (Renee) and Brent Poole were married.   Renee, an exotic dancer, was having an affair with Frazier.   The State's theory of the case was that Frazier and Renee conspired to murder Brent. On the night of June 9, 1998, Brent was fatally shot twice in the head at close range as he and Renee were walking on the beach in Myrtle Beach.   Renee was not injured and flagged down an officer patrolling the beach for help.   She told the officer, “my husband has been shot.” The investigation quickly focused on Frazier.   The State asserted that Renee lured ...

Status: Released In Snapped Season 18, Episode 8, the story of Dawn Fowler is shown. This ends badly for her ex-husband Richard Craig Fowler in the state of South Carolina. Dawn Fowler plead guilty and was sentenced to 18 years suspended to 13 years on the charge of conspiracy to kidnap, 13 years for accessory after murder, five years for conspiracy to commit murder and one year each on two unrelated counts of breach of trust, totaling $2,000 in 2008.
