Status: Incarcerated In season 7, episode 30 the murder of her lover 's pregnant fiancée, Avis Banks by Carla Hughes is shown. This murder occurred in the state of Mississippi . According to Pittman, Hughes had remained in the relationship despite her knowledge that Pittman planned to marry Banks and that Banks was pregnant with his child. Status: Released  In Snapped Season 19, Episode 7, the story of Michelle Byrom is shown. This ends badly for her husband Edward in the state of Mississippi. Michelle Byrom who was nearly executed won a new trial and has since been released from prison. In late May and early June 1999, Byrom began looking for someone to kill her husband.   After attempting to hire at least one other person, Byrom contracted with Joey Gillis (Gillis) to kill Byrom, Sr. Byrom and Gillis negotiated a price of $15,000, which was to be paid from the victim's life insurance proceeds.   The Byroms' son, Edward Byrom, Jr. (Junior), who assisted his mother in finding a killer, was aware that Gillis had been hired to kill his father.   Gillis attempted to kill Byrom, Sr. on two separate occasions prior to the murder.   Both attempts went unnoticed by Byrom, Sr. Byrom suffers from Munchausen Syndrome  and had been intentionally ingesting rat poison for at least three years pri...

Status: Incarcerated In Season 22, episode 5, Oxygen's Snapped, the story of Tameshia Shelton is shown This does not end well for Daniel Young as they end up dead in the state of Mississippi. Tameshia Shelton was convicted by a jury of the murder. The show is described as: A young man ends up dead while out hunting; investigating whether this is a case of an accidental shooting, or if there is a more sinister explanation Shelton claimed to have heard one shot shortly after Young left her house. She alleged that she searched for Young, calling his name. According to Shelton, she found Young ten to fifteen yards from the driveway, lying face-down in the grass under a large tree. She claimed that Young was grunting. Shelton immediately called 911 and remained on the phone until officers responded to the scene. Status: Incarcerated Kristi Fulgham's story is told in Oxygen's Snapped, Season 16, episode 6. The show is described as Kristi Fulgham and her teenage half-brother Tyler are accused of the May 2003 shooting death of Kristi's husband, Joey. The murder of Kristi's husband, JosephT. "Joey" Fulgham is depicted in the state of Mississippi. Kristi Fulgham is Sentenced to death on December 9, 2006.
