Snapped Jessica McCord Alan Bates and Terra Bates

In season 6, episode 2 the murder of her ex-husband Alan Bates and his new wife, Terra Bates by Jessica McCord is shown. This murder occurred in the state of Alabama. Oxygen describes this episode of Snapped as Jessica McCord and her husband murder her ex-husband Alan Bates and his new wife in February 2002, then dispose of their bodies in a burning car



Jessica McCord is Sentenced to life in prison without parole, however she was granted parole eligibility in exchange for detailing for prosecutors how he and his wife killed Alan and Terra Bates Jeff Kelley McCord who did the actual killing has been denied parole.  She has been paroled.

  1. That is not Alan Bates grave. He was born in 1970 or 71, NOT in 1953!
    According to the AL Dept of Corrections website, Jessica Bates McCord has NOT been released. She's serving consecutive life sentences for murder and is not eligible for parole.
