Teresa Burousas was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 and sentenced to 20 years. she has since been released on Nov. 13, 2018.

Status: Incarcerated In Oxygen's Snapped, Season 4, episode 13 the story of her husband Army Maj. David Shannon and Joan Shannon is shown. This happens in the state of North Carolina. Oxygen describes this show as: Joan Shannon solicits her daughter Elizabeth in the July 2002 shooting death of her husband David, a soldier. Joan Shannon was convicted of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
