On Oxygen's Snapped, Season 9, Episode 17 the story of the murder of her mother Kristie Marks by Taylor Marks is shown. The show is described as Taylor Marks was a young Ohio woman who solicited her boyfriend in the October 2009 ambush and murder of her mother Kristie Marks so she could get her hands on her inheritance money.

This happened in Ohio.

Taylor Marks was Sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole on September 28, 2010. Brian Smith and Troy Purdie II were also convicted and sentenced to prison.

Status: Incarcerated In Oxygen's Snapped, Season 4, episode 13 the story of her husband Army Maj. David Shannon and Joan Shannon is shown. This happens in the state of North Carolina. Oxygen describes this show as: Joan Shannon solicits her daughter Elizabeth in the July 2002 shooting death of her husband David, a soldier. Joan Shannon was convicted of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
