Snapped Sarah Brady and Katie Smith

Status: Never Charged

In season 6, episode 4 the murder of another pregnant woman, Katie Smith by Sarah Brady is shown. This murder occurred in the state of Kentucky . Oxygen describes this episode of Snapped as Sarah Brady, an expectant mother, stabs another seemingly pregnant woman to death in February 2005 during a violent altercation in the woman's apartment.



Sarah Brady was never charged as Katie Smith had intended to kill her, cut her open and take her baby as she has been faking a pregnancy which was coming to it's end.

Snapped Joan Shannon and Army Maj. David Shannon

Status: Incarcerated In Oxygen's Snapped, Season 4, episode 13 the story of her husband Army Maj. David Shannon and Joan Shannon is shown. This happens in the state of North Carolina. Oxygen describes this show as: Joan Shannon solicits her daughter Elizabeth in the July 2002 shooting death of her husband David, a soldier. Joan Shannon was convicted of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
