Snapped Melissa Stredney and Jamie Hart

The story of Melissa Stredney and her ex fiance, Jamie Hart is the subject of Oxygen's Snapped show, season 10, episode 11. Oxygen describes the show as: Melissa Stredney, a former teaching assistant, is accused of shooting and attempting to kidnap her ex- fiancé, Jamie Hart after he called off their engagement in December 2010..

Melissa Stredney was sentenced to fifteen years for attempted murder. She pleaded guilty to felonious assault and tampering with evidence. Jamie's left eye and part of his forehead was destroyed by the bullet. He had hoped she would apologize for her actions at sentencing, but she did not.
