Snapped Mary Thompson and Aaron Iturra

In Oxygen's Snapped, Season 3, episode 8 the story of Aaron Iturra, a boy who was set to testify against her son in a court case and Mary Thompson is shown. This happens in the state of Oregon. Oxygen describes this show as: Mary Thompson plans the October 1994 murder of Aaron Iturra, a boy who was set to testify against her son in a court case.

Mary Thompson  In 1974, she falsely accused several members of Hell's Angels of rape; the men were acquitted of the charges. She had also been fired from a job for embezzlement. One of her brothers was convicted of murdering his wife and the other became a paraplegic after a botched suicide attempt.  Thompson was originally sentenced to life in prison, but in April 2000, the Oregon Court of Appeals overturned the sentence and she was re sentenced to 25 years
