Snapped Kelley Cannon and James Cannon

In season 7, episode 35 the murder of her ex-husband James Cannon by Kelley Cannon is shown. This murder occurred in the state of Tennessee. Oxygen describes this episode of Snapped as Kelley Cannon is the prime suspect in the June 2008 murder of her ex-husband James Cannon, a prominent attorney, in the middle of a bitter divorce

 On  June  23,  2008,  James  Cannon,  (hereinafter,  ―the  victim‖)  the  Petitioner‘s husband,  was  found  dead  in  his  home  in  Nashville,  Tennessee.    The  couple  had  three children,and  the  victim  had  filed  for  divorce  in  February  2008.    At  the  time  of  the murder,  the  victim  lived  in  the  marital  residence  and  the  Petitioner  lived  in  a  nearby apartment.   At trial, the jury  convicted the  Petitioner  of  the  first  degree premeditated murder  of  the  victim.



Kelley Cannon is was sentenced to life in prison in 2010 after a jury found her guilty of murdering her 44-year-old attorney husband.
