Snapped Kathleen Wise and Kenneth Wise

Status: Incarcerated 


The story of Kathleen Wise and her husband, Kenneth is the subject of Oxygen's Snapped show, season 10, episode 18. Oxygen describes the show as: Kathleen Wise is accused of poisoning her husband Kenneth with morphine in June 2011 to end her unhappy marriage.

Kathleen Wise was convicted of murder and sentenced to life without parole. She has appealed, but remains in prison.

On the morning of June 8, 2011, the Appellant found her 71–year–old husband, Kenneth Wise, dead in his bed. 

Taylor County Coroner Terry Dabney went to the Wises' home to examine the body. Upon his arrival, the Appellant told the coroner that her husband had not been feeling well the previous day, that he had gotten sick to his stomach in the middle of the night, and that he had been vomiting and stumbling around in the bathroom. The Appellant told the coroner that she had asked Kenneth if he would like to go to the hospital, but that he had declined. She stated that Kenneth had complained to her of chest pains and that she had given him a nitroglycerin pill before he had returned to bed.

Snapped Brittany Norwood

Status: Incarcerated  On Oxygen's Snapped, Season 9, Episode 20 the story of the murder of her co-worker Jayna Murray by Brittany Norwood is shown. The show is described as Brittany Norwood is accused of the savage March 2011 murder of her co-worker Jayna Murray after she got caught shoplifting, then attempted to stage the scene as a break-in. This happened in Maryland. Brittany Norwood was Sentenced to life in prison without parole on January 26, 2012 The appeal includes: Norwood and Murray were co-workers at the Bethesda Lululemon Athletica retail store. They had worked together at the store on the night of March 11, 2011. After closing the store, both Norwood and Murray left the building. Snapped Velma Ogden Whitehead

Status: Released  On Oxygen's Snapped, Season 9, Episode 22 the story of the murder of her husband Ron Whitehead by Velma Ogden Whitehead , is shown. The show is described as Velma Ogden Whitehead, her 16-year-old son, and his friend are responsible for plotting the carjacking death of her husband Ron Whitehead in March 2005. This happened in Washington. Velma Ogden Whitehead pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 22 years in prison on June 5, 2008.  John Ogden was also convicted for his role in this murder. The appeal includes:  Ronald Whitehead, John Ogden’s stepfather, was shot fourtimes around 5:40 a.m. on March 18, 2005, at an intersection in Des Moines less than two milesfrom his house.  Whitehead had been driving to work in his Ford Mustang.
