Riggins stayed at her husband’s house in Flagstaff several days before  the  final  hearing,  after  spending  the  previous  eight months separated from him and living and traveling out of state. The  night  before  the  shooting,  she  spent  the  night  at  another  man’s house, watching movies, eating pizza, and drinking.  She spent the day of the shooting at Oak Creek Canyon.  She returned to her husband’s house that night, however.
