Snapped Jennifer Hyatte and Wayne "Cotton" Morgan

In season 7, episode 12 the murder of prison guard, Wayne "Cotton" Morgan by Jennifer Hyatte is shown. This murder occurred in the state of Tennessee. Oxygen describes this episode of Snapped as Jennifer Hyatte is a prison nurse turned fugitive after fatally shooting a prison guard in August 2005 in order to free her incarcerated husband. This story has also been featured on "For My Man". This was all done for her husband George Hyatte, who she hoped to free. He was also sentenced to life in prison.



Jennifer Hyatte is Pleaded guilty. Sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole on September 17, 200.
