On Oxygen's Snapped, Season 9, Episode 4 the story of the murder of her husband Mike Snyder by Ellen Snyder is shown. The show is described as Ellen Snyder was a New Mexico mother who shot her husband Mike Snyder to death in January 2002, buried his body under her house, and faked his disappearance for almost eight years.

This happened in Arizona.

Ellen Snyder was plead to manslaughter sentenced to ten years


Ellen Snyder released. This is a sad case where basically Ellen was rewarded for being a good criminal. If police had acted sooner on his family's statements, enough evidence could have been gathered to incarcerate her.
