Snapped Elisa McNabney and Larry McNabney

In Oxygen's Snapped, Season 2, episode 4 the story of her husband, successful attorney Larry McNabney and Elisa McNabney is shown. This happens in the state of  Nevada. Oxygen describes this show as: Elisa McNabney's true past is exposed after her husband, successful attorney Larry McNabney, is killed with horse tranquilizer in September 2001..

Elisa McNabney was never convicted. She gave a full confession to police a week prior to hanging herself on March 31, 2002. It was discovered her real name was Laren Sims and that she had served time in prison in Florida.

Sarah Dutra was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter and being an accessory to murder. She was sentenced to the maximum of 11 years, 8 months in prison. She has since been released.

Snapped Shannon Baugus

Status: Acquitted  On Oxygen's Snapped, Season 9, Episode 12 the story of the murder of her husband by Shannon Baugus is shown. The show is described as Shannon Baugus is suspected of shooting her husband during an argument over the television in March 2010, and police challenge her claims that she was a battered wife. This happened in Tennessee. Shannon Baugus was charged with first-degree murder but was aquitted of all charges by a jury.
