Snapped Deidra Lane and Fred Lane

In Oxygen's Snapped, Season 3, episode 14 the story of Carolina Panthers football player Fred Lane and Deidra Lane is shown. This happens in the state of North Carolina. Oxygen describes this show as: Deidra Lane, the wife of North Carolina Panthers football player Fred Lane, claims self-defense in his July 2000 shooting death.

Deidra Lane pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter. She was sentenced to seven years and 11 months in prison. She was released on November 28, 2009.

Snapped Tracey Richter

Status: Incarcerated  On Oxygen's Snapped, Season 9, Episode 9 the story of the murder of her 20-year-old neighbor, Dustin Wehde by Tracey Richter is shown. The show is described as Tracey Richter staged a fake home invasion in December 2001, in which she shot her 20-year-old neighbor, Dustin Wehde, to death in an effort to frame her ex for the crime.. This happened in Iowa. Tracey Richter was convicted and given a life sentence.
