The story of Amy Bishop and three co workers is the subject of Oxygen's Snapped show, season 10, episode 4. Oxygen describes the show as: Amy Bishop is a biology professor who goes on a shooting spree, which kills three co-workers, after getting fired from her job in February 2010.

Anderson was indicted on charges of capital murder and attempted murder after she shot several of her colleagues during a biology-department faculty meeting at the University of Alabama in Huntsville on February 2, 2010. Anderson's defense counsel have served notice that they intend to argue that Anderson is not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.

Snapped Joan Shannon and Army Maj. David Shannon

Status: Incarcerated In Oxygen's Snapped, Season 4, episode 13 the story of her husband Army Maj. David Shannon and Joan Shannon is shown. This happens in the state of North Carolina. Oxygen describes this show as: Joan Shannon solicits her daughter Elizabeth in the July 2002 shooting death of her husband David, a soldier. Joan Shannon was convicted of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
