Snapped Adrienne Emily Hickson and Shawn Washington

In season 6, episode 3 the murder of her boyfriend Shawn Washington by Adrienne Emily Hickson is shown. This murder occurred in the state of Georgia. Oxygen describes this episode of Snapped as Adrienne Emily Hickson, a law student, in self defense, stabs her boyfriend Shawn Washington during a physical altercation in December 2005



Adrienne Emily Hickson made an  Alford plea and was sentenced to 5 years in prison in June 2007. Ultimately, she was released in 2010.

Status: Incarcerated In Oxygen's Snapped, Season 4, episode 13 the story of her husband Army Maj. David Shannon and Joan Shannon is shown. This happens in the state of North Carolina. Oxygen describes this show as: Joan Shannon solicits her daughter Elizabeth in the July 2002 shooting death of her husband David, a soldier. Joan Shannon was convicted of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
